The Bears of Brooks Camp
Katmai Brooks Bears visit Brooks Camp (also known as Brooks Falls) every summer for the salmon run. Alaska bear viewing in Katmai National Park provides some of the highest densities of foraging brown bear populations for public viewing. Brooks Camp provides excellent and accessible viewing opportunities, with bear-viewing platforms and wheelchair-friendly trails.

Guided Bear Viewing via Pontoon Boat
in Lake Clark National Park
If you are vacationing to Alaska later in the summer, no worries- we have a great trip we offer that time of year! These bears get better and better late into September as the foliage begins to change, making for spectacular photos.
Guided Bear Viewing-Hiking Adventure in Katmai National Park
Alaska offers a multitude of wildlife viewing opportunities, but for many visitors the main attraction is the iconic Alaska coastal brown bear (the grizzly bear). Summer populations of brown bear thrive in coastal Alaska due to abundant food sources such as sedge grass, inter-tidal shellfish, and salmon returning to spawn.
“We had the best sightseeing trip ever with Beluga Air. Wes was an excellent pilot, taking us to Katmai National Park to see the bears. He went out of his way to point out points of interest on the way and we enjoyed his professionalism and sense of humor. You will not regret booking with them.”
